'FOUR' R.E.N.T. - Respect Everybody's Natural Talents
He mihi nui ki a koutou. Greatest greetings to you all. We are the 'FOUR' R.E.N.T. class of 2012. Our intended philosophy is to respect everybody's natural talents. Our inspiration is to be like Jesus Christ, through living out the Gospel values, through prayer and through serving others.

L.I: WALT visualise
Today Kakariki were reading a poem called Pureora, written by Hirini Melbourne. Our reading comprehension strategy was 'visualise'. After reading the poem, we made a Quilt using paper and we had to draw a part of the poem which we visualised. On the outside we had to write a phrase from the poem, which represented our visualisation.
Eg. Swinging like a spider;
attached by an umbilical cord from its web;
billowing about in the breeze.

L.I: WALT recognise that the saints in Heaven are united to the members of the Church who are on earth.
We made paper weaving where we drew images of the Holy Spirit, and symbols of saints to show how saints in Heaven and the members of the Church on earth are all woven together by Jesus and the Holy Spirit through Baptism and prayer/karakia.
